Read Judgment- Special Court Acquits All Accused in Babri Masjid Demolition Case

Today, the Special Court at Lucknow has delivered its Judgment in the Babri Masjid Demolition Case.

The Court observed that the event was not pre-planned. Demolition happened at the spur of the moment.

Special judge S K Yadav observed leaders like L K Advani, M M Joshi and others tried to stop the mob at the time of incident.

The Case had total 32 accused including BJP Leader Shri L.K. Advani, Uma Bharti, Shri M.M. Joshi and the then Chief Minister Shri Kalyan Singh. CBI had Chargesheet 42 people, but 16 of them died during the trial.

The Trial has been conducted alleging commission of Offence under Sections 147, 153-A, 153-B, 295-A, 295, 505 of Indian Penal Code read with Section 120B and 149 of IPC.

The Trial Court under the directions of the Supreme Court has heard the matter on day to day basis and in view of last order of the Supreme Court, the verdict has been pronounced Today. In the Ayodhya Judgment Supreme Court held that ‘Babri Mosque Demolition An Egregious Violation Of The Rule Of Law, Wrong Committed Must Be Remedied’

Due to COVID Age restriction L K Advani, Murali Manohar Joshi, Kalyan Singh, Uma Bharti were not present. Uma Bharati has tested positive for COVID 19 and is in AIIMS Rishikesh
