President Shri Ram Nath Kovind has appointed Justice N V Ramana as the next Chief Justice of India. The warrant of appointment as CJI, with effect from April 24, has been handed over to Justice Ramana by Secretary, Department of Justice today. Justice Ramana will take oth as 48th CJI on April 24.
