Bombay HC Imposes Cost of 5000 on Law Firm For Disclosing Name Of Rape Victim In Petition

The Bombay High Court has expressed displeasure with the disclosure of a rape victim’s name in a case and imposed a fine of Rs 5000 on the law firm that had drafted the petition. The Bench of Justices Revati Mohite Dere and Prithviraj Chavan remarked that many times lawyers don’t refrain from mentioning the name
