BCI postpones AIBE XVI to 25th April- Online registrations open till 22nd March.

The Bar Council of India has postponed the All India Bar Examination date, and now the exam will be held on 25/04/2021 (Sunday).

The date of receipt of the application has been extended to 22.03.2021.

The AIBE was supposed to be held on 21.03.2021, but as the exam has been postponed, the last date of payment and registration date has also been extended.

The revised Schedule for AIBE XVI is as follows:-

Online registration for the exam had begun on 26.12.2020.

Candidates can now apply for the exam till 22.03.2021

Online payments can be made till 26.03.2021

The last date for online form completion is 31.03.2021

Admit cards for the exam will be released on 10.04.2021

The exam will be held on 25.04.2021.

The AIBE exam is held twice a year, and lawyers need to clear it to get admitted to the Bar and practice law.

As per the recent notification, the Bar Council of India has stated that AIBE XVI onwards candidates cannot take notes, books, or study material in the exam hall. However, candidates can take Bar Acts but without notes.

BCI also stated that the dates get modified due to unavoidable circumstances.
