May, 5th 2025: The District of Janjgir Champa witnessed a significant milestone in judicial infrastructure development with the virtual inauguration of the ADR Building at Janjgir, Residences for Judicial Officers and Employees at Champa, Jaijaipur, & Nawagarh, District Janjgir Champa. The event was graced virtually by Hon’ble Shri Justice Ramesh Sinha, Chief Justice, High Court of Chhattisgarh,and Patron-in-Chief, State Legal Services Authority, whose vision and leadership continue to drive modernization and accessibility in the judicial system.
The virtual ceremony was also attended by Hon’ble Shri Justice Sanjay K. Agarwal, Judge, High Court of Chhattisgarh & Executive Chairman State Legal Services Authority and Hon’ble Shri Justice Sanjay Agarwal, Judge, High Court of Chhattisgarh & Portfolio Judge for District Janjgir Champa.
In his keynote address, Hon’ble the Chief Justice highlighted the pivotal role of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) in ensuring speedy and amicable settlement of disputes. He emphasized that the ADR building inaugurated today will serve as a cornerstone in promoting efficient and effective justice delivery, aligning with the directions of the Hon’ble Apex Court which continues to endorse the use of mediation and ADR mechanisms.
Hon’ble the Chief Justice further congratulated the Judicial Officers and staff of the District for the completion of their new residential facilities and urged them to maintain the premises with care and responsibility. He stressed that such projects not only address infrastructural needs but also contribute to the overall well-being and morale of the judiciary.
This event marks another step forward in the judiciary’s mission under the leadership of Hon’ble the Chief Justice, to enhance citizen-centric services, promote sustainable judicial spaces, and uphold the values of access, efficiency, and environmental consciousness.
The programme commenced with a welcome address by the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Janjgir Champa and concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the Chief Judicial Magistrate Janjgir Champa .
The Registrar General, Officers of the Registry, Principal District and Sessions Judge, and Judicial Officers ,Distinguished Members of the Bar Associations of Janjgir Champa, Jaijaipur and Nawagarh, Administrative Officials, and Representatives from print and electronic media were also present.
