Justice Alok Aradhe Takes Oath as Chief Justice of Bombay High Court

Justice Alok Aradhe was officially sworn in as the Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court in a ceremony held on Tuesday. The event took place at the Darbar Hall of the Raj Bhavan, with Maharashtra Governor C P Radhakrishnan administering the oath of office.

The swearing-in ceremony was attended by notable figures including Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar, Speaker of the State Legislative Assembly Rahul Narwekar, Skill Development Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha, as well as several judges of the Bombay High Court and senior government officers.

Following the official proceedings, Governor Radhakrishnan, alongside the Deputy Chief Ministers and State Chief Secretary Sujata Saunik, extended their congratulations to Chief Justice Aradhe. The Chief Secretary also presented the Union government’s official notification of appointment during the ceremony, underscoring the formal recognition of Justice Aradhe’s new role.
