Recently, the Madras High Court granted relief to a candidate who wrote “Jai Hind” at the end of her exam essay. The bench of Justice Battu Devanand was dealing with the petition directing the respondent to evaluate the petitioner’s answer paper in Essay Part-B (Main Exam) and award marks and consider the petitioner for appointment
