The Bombay High Court on Wednesday stated that spouse consent is not required for organ donation. The bench of Justices Prasanna Laxmikant Joshi v. Dinesh Vidyadhar Dixit was dealing with the petition challenging an appellate order upholding an order passed by the 2nd Respondent declining to approve the proposed kidney donation by Dinesh to Prasanna.
