Why Women Are Incapable to Accept Summons on Behalf of Other Person? SC Seeks Centre’s Response In Plea Challenging Section 64 of CrPC

The Supreme Court has issued notice in a plea challenging the validity of section 64 Code of Criminal Procedure( CrPC) on the ground that it is discriminatory against women because the section finds women incapable of accepting summons on behalf of the person summoned.
