Supreme Court Unveils Expanded Crèche Facility for Children of Staff and Lawyers

On Thursday, the Supreme Court proudly unveiled an expanded crèche facility designed to accommodate nearly 100 children of the court’s staff and lawyers. The announcement came from Chief Justice of India D Y Chandrachud during a session of a five-judge constitution bench that was convened to deliberate on an arbitration matter.

The Chief Justice highlighted the enhancements made to the facility, noting, “Today, we dedicated the new crèche.
