Supreme Court Reads Down Delhi Fire Service Rules, Exempts Buildings up to 17.5m in Height

A bench of Justice Indira Banerjee and Justice V. Ramasubramanian in the Supreme Court has exempted buildings with stilts up to 17.5 metres tall from Rule 27 of the Delhi Fire Service Rules 2010, which classifies any building taller than 15 metres as high-rise. According to the Court the 15-meter limit will apply to buildings
