Recently, The Karnataka HC stated that the award of the arbitrator was put into execution, not the decree of the court and therefore Rule 11 of Order XXI CPC cannot be applied. The bench of Justice Sreenivas Harish Kumar was dealing with the appeal challenging the order passed on the file of Commercial Court, Bengaluru.
