Nowadays Youngsters Are failing to Look After the Aged & Ailing Parents: Karnataka HC Upholds Order Directing Son to Pay Maintenance to Mother

In a recent judgment, the High Court of Karnataka at Bengaluru addressed a dispute between two sons and their elderly mother regarding maintenance under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007.  Justice Krishna S Dixit upheld the maintenance order while emphasizing the duty of children to care for their aging parents.
