The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has amended the Cable Television Network Rules 1994 to set up a three-tier mechanism for redressal viewer grievance related to content broadcasted by Television channels in breach of the Advertising or Programming Code. This has come into force by way of a notification released in the Official Gazette today.
