Driving a Vehicle Without a Number Plate Does Not Constitute Cheating Under IPC Section 420: Telangana High Court

In a significant ruling, the Telangana High Court, presided by Justice K. Sujana, quashed the proceedings against a petitioner charged with offences under Section 420 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Section 80(a) of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. The case was registered under Crime No. 140 of 2024 at Charminar Police Station, Hyderabad.
