Delhi High Court Round-Up for Tuesday

Important cases heard in the Delhi High Court on Tuesday, October 17:

* Trinamool Congress member Mahua Moitra approached HC seeking to restrain BJP MP Nishikant Dubey, an advocate, and several social media platforms and media houses from posting, circulating or publishing any alleged fake and defamatory content against her.

* Aam Aadmi Party MP Raghav Chadha can live in the government bungalow allotted to him for now, with the HC reviving the trial court’s stay on his eviction by the Rajya Sabha secretariat.

* AAP leader Sanjay Singh, arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in a case related to the now-scrapped excise policy for the city, told HC that the law against money laundering cannot become an “instrument of oppression” as he demanded his release in the matter.
