Delhi High Court Round-Up for Tuesday

Important cases heard in the Delhi High Court on Tuesday, October 3:

* Mayor Shelly Oberoi moved the HC seeking political clearance from the Centre to enable her to travel to Brisbane for a programme.

* HC has asked the Centre to display on site the environmental cost, number of trees being felled and the location of compensatory plantation while executing any construction project.

* The purpose of showing distasteful and gross anti-tobacco imagery in health spots during films in cinema halls, on television and OTT platforms is to make people aware of the ailments and ill-effects of consuming tobacco products, the HC has said.
