Currently No Proposal to Reintroduce NJAC: Law Minister Informs Rajyasabha

Union Law and Justice Minister Kiren Rijiju informed Parliament today that there is currently no plan to reintroduce the National Judicial Appointments Commission (NJAC) with appropriate modifications. He said: “As of 05.12.2022, the Government has one proposal for the appointment of a Supreme Court Judge and eight proposals for the appointment of High Court Judges
