Court Rejects Bail Plea of Kalicharan Maharaj, Accused of Insulting Mahatma Gandhi

Kalicharan Maharaj’s bail application was denied by a court in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, on Monday. Kalicharan was arrested in Raipur’s Dharma Sansad from Khajuraho, Madhya Pradesh, for insulting Mahatma Gandhi. He is being held in judicial custody until January 13th. Kalicharan Maharaj has been charged under Sections 294, 505 (1) (b), 505 (2), 153-A (1), 153-B
