Consumers Having Similar Grievance Can File Joint Complaint, Rules Supreme Court

Recently, the Supreme Court ruled that when there are complaints that have a similar grievance then it is not mandatory to separately file complaints instead the complainants have the option to file a joint complaint. As per the Court, there is nothing in the Consumer Protection Act that prohibits litigants from filing a joint complaint.
