Recently, the State Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission stated that the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 is prospective, meaning pending cases and rights/obligations created before its enactment will be adjudicated under Old Act. The bench of Justices Sangita Dhingra Sehgal and Member Pinki was dealing with the appeal challenging the order passed by the District Consumer Disputes
