Consumer Court Fines Yatra For Unilateral Cancellation of Ticket and Failing to Issue Refund

In a legal development, the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission in Gurgaon has ruled in favor of Parminder Oberoi, a complainant who faced service disruptions in her travel plans with Yatra Online Pvt. Ltd. and British Airways. The commission found a deficiency in service and ordered the companies to compensate Ms. Oberoi for her ordeal.
