Consumer Court Directs Grocery Store To Pay Rs 25000 For Charging Extra Money For Grocery Bags

The District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Chandigarh has directed 24Seven (a grocery store chain) to pay Rs 25000 to a consumer for charging him Rs 10 and 20 for carry bags after he purchased some groceries. The complainant in this case is Adv Jaspreet Singh who purchased groceries worth Rs 1250 on November 16 2021
