CJI Expresses Concern Over Circulation Of Clips Of Court Proceedings On Social Media That Are Taken Out Of Context

On Friday, the Supreme Court stated that it is considering having an independent platform for live-streaming of court proceedings so the who process can be institutionalised for future generations. CJI DY Chandrachud made the observations while hearing an application moved by Senior Counsel Indira Jaising stating that live-streaming of cases has public and constitutional importance.
