Bilaspur, 15 May 2026: Continuing the endeavour towards strengthening judicial infrastructure and welfare facilities in the State, the Virtual Bhoomi Poojan and Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony for the construction of the New Building of Family Court at Manendragarh and Residential Quarters for Judicial Employees at Janakpur was held on Friday, 15 May 2026 at Civil Court, Manendragarh and Civil Court, Janakpur. The ceremony was virtually performed by Hon’ble Shri Justice Ramesh Sinha, Chief Justice of the High Court of Chhattisgarh, whose gracious presence lent prestige to the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, Hon’ble the Chief Justice emphasized the vital importance of developing modern judicial infrastructure and ensuring quality residential facilities for Judicial employees to facilitate the effective and seamless functioning of the justice delivery system. His Lordship observed that the establishment of well-equipped Court complexes and residential quarters significantly enhances administrative efficiency, accessibility and the overall working environment within the Judiciary. His Lordship further remarked that such progressive initiatives exemplify the steadfast commitment of the High Court of Chhattisgarh towards infrastructural advancement and the welfare of Judicial Officers and employees across the State.
The programme was held in the august virtual presence of Hon’ble Mr. Justice Parth Prateem Sahu, Judge, High Court of Chhattisgarh and Portfolio Judge, District Korea (Baikunthpur).
Also present on the occasion were Registry Officers of the High Court of Chhattisgarh, District Administration Officials, Principal District & Sessions Judge Korea (Baikunthpur), Judicial Officers, Members of the Bar, Court staff and other dignitaries.
The programme commenced with a welcome address delivered by Shri Yogesh Pareek, Principal District & Sessions Judge, Korea (Baikunthpur). A video presentation showcasing the proposed construction sites and project details of the New Family Court Building at Manendragarh and Residential Quarters at Janakpur was also displayed during the programme.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Shri Rajendra Verma, Judge, Family Court, Manendragarh, who expressed gratitude to Hon’ble Judges, Officers and all stakeholders for their valuable cooperation and support in the successful conduct of the programme.
The ceremony marked a significant milestone in the sustained efforts of the High Court of Chhattisgarh towards enhancing judicial infrastructure and promoting improved welfare facilities for Judicial Officers and employees across the State.
