Chief Justice Justice Ramesh Sinha Virtually Inaugurates Residential Colony for Judicial Employees in Rajnandgaon

Bilaspur, 11 May 2026: Marking a major milestone in the advancement of Judicial infrastructure and employee welfare, the Newly Constructed Residential Colony for Judicial employees of District Rajnandgaon (C.G.) was virtually inaugurated on Monday, 11 May 2026 at Nyayik Karmchari Awaasiy Parisar, Pendri, Rajnandgaon (C.G.). The prestigious inauguration ceremony was graced virtually by Hon’ble Shri Justice Ramesh Sinha, Chief Justice of the High Court of Chhattisgarh, whose august presence added dignity and significance to the occasion.

Addressing the gathering, Hon’ble the Chief Justice emphasized that the provision of quality residential accommodation for Judicial employees is essential for ensuring a dignified and conducive working environment within the Judicial system. His Lordship observed that the development of modern residential infrastructure contributes significantly towards the welfare, efficiency, and overall well-being of Judicial staff, thereby strengthening the institutional framework of the Judiciary. His Lordship further stated that such initiatives reflect the commitment of the High Court of Chhattisgarh towards improving infrastructure facilities and enhancing the effectiveness of justice delivery at the district level.

The programme was held in the august virtual presence of Hon’ble Shri Justice Narendra Kumar Vyas, Judge, High Court of Chhattisgarh and Portfolio Judge, District Rajnandgaon (C.G.).

Also present on the occasion were the Registrar General and Officers of the Registry, Collector Rajnandgaon, Principal District & Sessions Judge Rajnandgaon, Superintendent of Police Rajnandgaon, Judicial Officers, Members of the Bar Association, Office-bearers, Court staff, and other dignitaries.

The programme commenced with a welcome address delivered by Shri Vijay Kumar Hota, Principal District & Sessions Judge, Rajnandgaon (C.G.). A short video showcasing the newly constructed residential colony was also displayed during the programme.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Amita Jaiswal, Chief Judicial Magistrate, Rajnandgaon (C.G.), who expressed gratitude to the Hon’ble Judges, officers, and all stakeholders for their valuable support and cooperation in the successful conduct of the programme.

The event reaffirmed the High Court of Chhattisgarh’s continued commitment towards infrastructure development and welfare measures for Judicial Officers and employees across the State.
