Just two days after the oath of the new Modi Government the Ministry of Law and Justice notified the Appointment of Judges in Gauhati High Court and Jammu & Kashmir and Laddakh HC.
Shri Arjun Ram Mehhwal, Union Minister of State(I/C) for Law and Justice informed about this development on X.
As per the notification Justice Susmita Phukan Khaund and Justice Mitali Thakuria has been appointed as Permanent Judge of Gauhati High Court.
Whereas for Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh High Court Shri Justice Rajesh Sekhri has been appointed as an Additional Judge of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh High Court for a fresh term.
