Calcutta HC Upholds Conviction of Husband for Dowry Death, Noting that its unlikely that Wife would have told the neighbours about torture

Recently, the Calcutta High Court upheld the conviction of a husband for the commission of the offence of dowry death u.s 304B of IPC after observing that it is impossible for neighbours to know if the deceased was tortured in her marital home or not.
