Former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh has moved to Supreme Court seeking a probe into the allegations raised by him in his 8-page letter to Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackrey.

In the 8 page letter sent to the Chief Minsiter, Mr. Singh has levelled serious allegations against the Home Minister of Maharastra Anil Deshmukh.
Recently, Param Bir Singh was removed as Police Commissioner of Mumbai and appointed Commandant General of Home Guards (Maharashtra) by the state Home Department.
It is said that this decision was taken n light of the probe into the Antilia bomb scare and subsequent death of car dealer Mansukh Hiren.
In both of these cases, which are now being investigated by the NIA, ‘encounter specialist’ Sachin Vaze is a key suspect.
