15th August 2026: The Lucknow Bench of Allahabad High Court Celebrated India’s 80th Independence Day on August 15, 2026, with patriotic pride and fervor. The High Court building and entire complex was decked up in beautiful tricolor lights and flowers, for this occasion.
Hon’ble Mr. Justice Rajan Roy, The Senior Judge of the Lucknow Bench, hoisted the national flag which was followed by the National Song ‘Vande Mataram’ and the National Anthem and a musical rendition by the PAC band.
Thereafter, Hon’ble the Senior Judge, accompanied by Hon’ble Judges and their spouses and Retired Hon’ble Judges paid homage to the father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi, by offering floral tribute at his bust.
The event was attended by the Learned Senior Registrar, Officers of the Registry, Employees of the High Court, dignitaries including the Additional Advocates General of Uttar Pradesh, Chief Standing Counsels, Government Advocates, Special Counsels as well as the General Secretary, and Executive members of the Oudh Bar Association.
