In a welcome development, the Allahabad High Court has launched National Service and Tracking of Electronic Processes Services to overcome the delay in disposal of cases that happen due to slow delivery/service of summons and processes through the normal methods.
The new service (National Service and Tracking of Electronic Process Services) is available across the State through the mobile app and the web.
This new service was launched in a virtual ceremony in the presence of Hon’ble Chief Justice Govind Mathur, Hon’ble Justice SP Kesarwani and other Judges.
NSTEP enables a transparent tracking service of summons and notices in real-time.
District Courts have access to the Case Information System that provides the facility to generate electronic processes in PDF format. District NSTEP Administrators will help create user accounts of Process Servers (Bailiffs) and Process Administrators ( Nazir/ Assistant Nazir ).
Once the electronic process is generated through the new system, Process Administrators of respective courts will assign the delivery of process to Process Servers/Bailiffs. The NSTEP web application enables the allocation of published processes to bailiffs if service has to be effected in that particular jurisdiction.
This service will facilitate the allocation of the published process to courts of that district and throughout the state.
Hon’ble High Court has also launched an online Court Fees payment System for all the State courts. To pay the court fees, interested parties can log on to pay.ecourts.gov.in and www.shcilestamp.com.
Payments can be made through Debit Cards, UPI Mode and Net Banking.
Court fees can be paid for both new and pending cases through the portal.
