The Allahabad High Court recently granted bail u.s of 12 of Juvenile Justice Act to a man who was a juvenile when the incident took place. As per the Bench of Justice Sanjay Kumar Panchori, the Appellate Court and Juvenile Justice Board failed to appreciate the mandatory provisions of Section 13 of the JJ act.
