Recently, The Supreme Court stated that the court can award just compensation higher than the amount claimed. The bench of Justices A.S. Bopanna and Pamidighantam Sri Narasimha was dealing with the appeal challenging the Judgment passed by the Madhya Pradesh HC.  The appeal before the High Court was filed by the claimants in Motor Vehicles
