Recently, the Andhra Pradesh High Court dismissed a writ petition opposing the termination of a lease on the ground that except for the non-issuance of the show-cause notice, the petitioner has no other cause. In this case, the petitioner had a 20-year mining lease for quarrying black galaxy granite in over 6.17 hectares of land.
