313 CrPC | Criminal Trials Cannot Proceed Ex-parte, Rules Kerala HC

The Karnataka High Court has ruled that a criminal trial can’t be held in absence of the accused unless hir/her personal appearance is dispensed with for valid reasons.  There can’t be a dispensation of examination of accused u.s 313 CrPC if incriminating evidence appears in witnesses’ evidence.
