On Friday, the Supreme Court ordered that Chief Secretaries, top administrative and police officials will be personally held liable if banned firecrackers are used in any of the States. The Bench of Justices MR Shah and AS Bopanna remarked that celebration can’t be at the cost of others’ health, more particularly children and senior citizens.
