Jharkhand High Court Launches ‘Jharkhand District Judiciary’ App and New Logo at Silver Jubilee Celebration

The Jharkhand High Court marked its Silver Jubilee celebration on November 15 by launching a new mobile application, “Jharkhand District Judiciary,” and unveiling a new official logo. The launch was initiated by the Chief Justice of India–designate, Justice Surya Kant, signaling a significant move towards digital transformation for the state’s judiciary.

The new initiatives were unveiled as part of the High Court’s Silver Jubilee event. The primary objective of the “Jharkhand District Judiciary” app is to enhance the accessibility, transparency, and efficiency of judicial information and services for both lawyers and litigants associated with the district courts across the state.

Details of the “Jharkhand District Judiciary” App

The mobile application provides a comprehensive suite of features aimed at digitizing key court functions. The key features include:

  • Case Status: Users can retrieve detailed case information using multiple search parameters, including CNR Number, Case Number, Advocate Name, FIR Number, Party Name, Filing Number, Act, and Case Type.
  • Cause List: The app allows viewing of daily cause lists, filterable by establishment, court number, date, and nature of cases (Civil or Criminal).
  • Orders and Judgments: A dedicated section allows users to search for and download court orders and judgments using CNR, case number, order date, court number, or party name.
  • Display Board: This feature provides a real-time view of live court proceedings.
  • E-Filing: The app facilitates the secure online filing of petitions, pleadings, and other documents.
  • Online Payment: A secure system for making court fee payments online is integrated.
  • Court Calendar: Users can access the official court calendar, which displays all notified holidays and non-sitting days.

New High Court Logo Unveiled

Alongside the application, a new logo for the Jharkhand High Court was also unveiled, designed to reflect the state’s identity and constitutional values.

The key symbolic elements of the new logo are:

  • Outer Wall: Represents the Palash flower, the State Flower of Jharkhand.
  • Inner Wall: Depicts green Sal leaves, symbolizing the state’s tribal culture and natural heritage.
  • Central Symbol: Features the Scale of Justice, representing fairness and equality.
  • Watermark: An outline of the geographical shape of Jharkhand.
  • National Colours: The blended colours reflect the Indian National Flag.
  • Rising Sun: A subtle depiction of a rising sun signifies that justice reaches all individuals equally.
