Lucknow University Launches Advanced Certificate Course on Mediation

The University of Lucknow has announced an Advanced Certificate Course on Mediation, aimed at equipping law students, professionals, and academicians with practical skills in conflict resolution and alternative dispute mechanisms. The six-day online program will be conducted from November 25 to 30, 2025, in collaboration with the Samvad Mediation Centre (SMC) and the ADR, Drafting and Literary Society (ADLS) of the Faculty of Law.

About ADR, Drafting and Literary Society (ADLS)

Formed in 2022, the ADR, Drafting and Literary Society serves as an academic hub for cultivating essential legal skills among students. The Society regularly organizes workshops, training programs, and competitions to enhance participants’ drafting, negotiation, and advocacy abilities. Through its faculty and student-led initiatives, ADLS also encourages participation in national and international contests, earning laurels for the university.

Samvad Mediation Centre, a registered entity under the Union MSME Ministry, Government of India, is a reputed conflict resolution firm focused on promoting mediation as a viable tool for dispute settlement. With a team of internationally qualified experts, SMC’s mission is to make mediation accessible to all and to foster a new generation of trained mediators.

The course is open to:

  • Students pursuing 3-Year LL.B., 5-Year LL.B., LL.M., or Ph.D. programs from any recognized institution
  • Professionals and academicians from any discipline
