Shillong/Indore, July 1: In a significant development in the ongoing investigation into the murder of Raja Raghuvanshi, his family has announced plans to move the Meghalaya High Court seeking a narco analysis test of the accused. Raja’s brother, Vipin Raghuvanshi, stated that despite several arrests, the motive behind the murder remains unclear.

Vipin, who was summoned by the Shillong SIT to Indore Crime Branch for questioning, told news agency ANI on Monday that he will file a petition in the Meghalaya High Court requesting narco tests on the accused. “The motive of Raja’s murder is still unknown. To uncover the truth, I will appeal to the High Court for conducting narco tests on the accused,” he said.

During his visit to the crime branch office, Vipin was questioned about the jewellery offered during Raja and Sonam’s wedding. “I have submitted photographs of all the ornaments we gave as wedding offerings. I informed the police that Sonam took all the jewellery with her. I have no idea how much the police have recovered so far. They haven’t shown me any recovered items, but I’ve provided them with all the reference images,” he added.
