The Allahabad High Court has officially released its calendar for the year 2025, outlining the schedule of holidays, court working days, and special occasions to be observed. The calendar is designed to help advocates, litigants, and court staff plan their activities for the upcoming year.
Key Highlights of the 2025 Calendar:
Court Working Days: The High Court will operate on a total of 222 working days in 2025, ensuring ample time for case hearings and judicial proceedings.
Public Holidays: The calendar includes 25 public holidays, encompassing major national and regional festivals such as Republic Day (January 26), Independence Day (August 15), and Diwali (November 11). These holidays will be observed across all courtrooms in the High Court.
Court Vacations:
Summer Vacation: The High Court will observe its annual summer break from June 1 to June 30, providing advocates and judges an opportunity to rest and recharge.
Winter Vacation: A shorter winter break is scheduled from December 25 to December 31.
Special Holidays: Certain local festivals, including Holi (March 14) and Eid-ul-Fitr (April 21), have been included in the list of holidays to cater to the diverse cultural and religious practices in the region.
