Accused in Salman Khan Residence Firing Alleges Corruption by Prison Doctor

In a startling turn of events in the ongoing case regarding the firing outside Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s residence, an accused has claimed corruption within the prison healthcare system. Harpal Singh, who was arrested for his alleged involvement in the shooting incident at Galaxy Apartments in Bandra on April 14, has accused a prison doctor of demanding money for medical treatment.

During a court hearing conducted via video link before Judge B D Shelke at the special court for Maharashtra Control of Organized Crime Act (MCOCA), Singh stated that the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Taloja Jail, where he is currently incarcerated, demanded Rs 10,000 to refer him to a higher medical facility for his fractured finger.
