Without 30-day notice under Special Marriage Act Credibility of Parties Cannot be Ascertained: Centre submits before Delhi HC

Centre has opposed a petition filed before Delhi High Court challenging the thirty-day public notice period to invite objections for solemnization of marriages under Special Marriage Act. In its reply, the Central Government stated that Section 6 and 7 of the Act are not ultra vires to the Constitution, and they do not raise issues
