Recently, the Supreme Court explained the criminal liability of transferee company for Acts of transferor company after amalgamation. The bench of Justices S. Ravindra Bhat and Aravind Kumar was dealing with the appeal challenging the judgment passed by the Delhi High Court rejecting a petition for quashing criminal proceedings, filed by the DBS Bank India
