Sec 216 CrPC Doesn’t Permit Deletition of Charge: Allahabad HC

In a recent development, the Allahabad High Court dismissed a criminal revision petition in a case involving charges of dowry death and other offenses.  The court, presided over by Justice Ram Manohar Narayan Mishra, upheld the charges framed against the accused, Dev Narain, and declined to alter the charges as requested in the revision application.
