Recently, The Allahabad HC stated that FIR and subsequent proceedings i.e. Charge Sheet and Summoning Order can be quashed under Article 226 writ petition. The bench of Justices Attau Rahman Masoodi and Saroj Yadav was dealing with the petition questioning the legality of the FIR giving rise to Case registered under Section 409, 420 IPC.
