Notice Received At Corporate Office Of Company Is Valid Service Under Order XXIX Rule 2 CPC- Calcutta HC

The Calcutta High Court has ruled that under Order XXIX Rule 2 of CPC, the service of summons upon a company’s corporate office which is located under the jurisdiction, would be valid. The court further observed that Section 20 of the Companies Act of 2013 would only operate to enable effecting the service of documents
