306 IPC | No Compromise Can be Made With a Dead Man: P&H HC Refuses to Quash FIR on the basis of Compromise

Recently, the Punjab & Haryana High Court dismissed a petition seeking the quashing of an FIR registered u.s 306 on basis of a compromise. The Bench of Justice Gurvinder Singh Gill dismissed a plea filed by petitioners u.s 482 of CrPC seeking to quash an FIR registered u.s 306 of IPC for abetment to suicide.
