21-06-2025: Under the able guidance and in the gracious presence of Hon’ble The Chief Justice Mr. Ramesh Sinha, International Yoga Day has been observed at High Court of Chhattisgarh today with great enthusiasm and participation from Hon’ble Mr. Justice Parth Prateem Sahu, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Narendra Kumar Vyas, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Deepak Kumar Tiwari, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Rakesh Mohan Pandey, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Ravindra Kumar Agrawal, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Arvind Kumar Verma, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Bibhu Datta Guru, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Amitendra Kishore Prasad, Registrar General, Officers of the Registry and court staff.
Hon’ble The Chief Justice Mr. Ramesh Sinha, inaugurated the program by garlanding the bust of The Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, and lighting a lamp. The celebration took place in the premises of the High Court early in the morning, marking a collective commitment to health and well-being through the ancient discipline of yoga.
The event included a guided yoga session led by certified instructors, highlighting the physical, mental, and spiritual benefits of a regular yoga practice. Participants engaged in various asanas, breathing exercises (pranayama), and meditation techniques.
The event concluded with a reaffirmation of the commitment to promoting wellness, mindfulness, and a balanced lifestyle within the judiciary.
