Unmarried Daughter has Legal Right to Claim Marriage Expenses from Parents: Chhattisgarh HC

Recently, the Chhattisgarh High Court ruled that an unmarried daughter has the right to claim marriage expenses from her parents under the Hindu Adoptions and Maintenance Act of 1956 (the Act). This ruling was made by the Bench of Justices Goutam Bhaduri and Sanjay S Agarwal while allowing the petition filed by one Rajeshwari (35).
