Tragic Suicide of Supreme Court Lawyer in Noida After Starving for Days and Consuming Alcohol

In a heartrending incident in Noida, a 40-year-old Supreme Court lawyer, Satyendra Rai, was found deceased in his apartment at Lotus Zing Society, Sector-168, after he reportedly hanged himself late Tuesday night. According to police, Rai had not eaten for two days prior to his death, consuming only alcohol in his last hours, a sign of severe distress.

No suicide note was found at the scene, leaving authorities to piece together Rai’s final days. Preliminary inquiries revealed that the lawyer had been under considerable mental stress for some time. A domestic worker in Raiโ€™s employment shared that he had been visibly troubled and refrained from sharing his worries with others.

The Expressway Police Station, under the charge of Sunil Kumar, is handling the investigation. The police have sealed Rai’s mobile phone and apartment as part of the evidence collection process and are conducting interviews with his family and associates to understand the reasons behind his drastic decision.

The body has been sent for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death, as part of the ongoing investigation to gather more details about Rai’s state of mind and potential triggers for his suicide.
